Polylactic acid is a polymer that consists, among other things, of lactic acid molecules. Currently, we offer PLA filament in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm. A heated bed is advantageous for PLA filament, but not strictly necessary. We recommend using an air cooler when processing PLA filament. Furthermore, PLA is characterized by more pleasant odor properties compared to other plastics.
