According to the supplier: Ben Nevis is not suitable for Intel 2011 and not for 2011-3 (the spelling v3 is also possible). This has been changed. The manufacturer therefore offers the Ben Nevis Advanced itself. Our 50620 is the (EKL Alpenföhn Ben Nevis Advanced cooler, manufacturer number: 840000146) Here is the article: Alpenföhn Ben Nevis Advanced Cooler Alpine Hairdryer (15.90 cm)

Well, I used mine for a socket 1150. But it says in the description that it also works for your socket, so the brackets should also be included. Otherwise, ask Digitec if they were not included.

Hi gheine, I can only agree with gschwinds. Without the paste, the effect is much worse because the two metal surfaces do not fit together perfectly. The paste also mediates so that the maximum amount of heat goes into the heat sink.

I was never able to use the cooler because of a loose screw. Unfortunately, the quality didn't work for me at all. I immediately switched to Noctua and have never regretted it. For you, I think that a "NH-U12S SE-AM4" could be a good fit. Noctua's website is very complete, you just have to pay attention to the available height. Good luck!

How big does the housing have to be?

It is actually only the height that matters. In this case, the fan is 14.10 cm high. In the specifications (technical data) of an enclosure you will find a section max. fan height. This should be higher than the 14.10 cm. Then it fits.

Hi, it'll do but I told you last time I would have recommended the Noctua NH-U12s. Write me an email (n-systemspc@outlook.com) with a description of exactly what you need the PC for and what your budget is and I'll put components together for you. If you live in the Basel area, we can also arrange installation.
