I instantly ordered it the second it became available. Why is there a 4-6 week wait? There was no way to pre-order it.

Thanks to the "Equipped to Win" promotion, the 3900XT comes with the game Far Cry 6 for free. According to the AMD website, this also applies to the 5800X, 5900X and 5950X. Is there any information on this from digitec?

Because it seems to be difficult to compare reviews with the user's purchase and receipt of the product - or to simply lock the date until the product itself is released... I always ask myself the same question...

I really can't understand how Digitec can let these external sales outlets/department shops on their website at all. The Ryzen 9 5900X is offered by Digitec itself for 599, but Jacob.de sets the price here at 941.72. A bottomless impertinence. If I were Digitec, I would ban all these department stores (Jacob.de, Das Warenhaus until they have adjusted their prices) from the shop!

The pricing of your "partner" JACOB DE is an outrage. I think I can write on behalf of some of your long-time customers and ask you to question these extortionate offers. A Ryzen 9 5900x is now listed there for €1609.77, a RTX 3090 Strix OC for €4203.12 (as of 29.01.2021). What is incomprehensible to me personally is the fact that digitec offers such a retailer a platform in Switzerland. Serious question, do you really need this? It's no secret that you achieved record sales last year, so I ask again, do you really need this? You're all about customer satisfaction, so where exactly is the advantage for the end customer with JACOB DE? Apart from negative comments and "ugly" customers, I can't see any advantage here, neither for your customers nor for you. There is a saying: "Sometimes less is more"... In this sense, thank you for taking note.

Totally agree. I also find it completely unnecessary that Digitec accepts such business practices and offers the platform for them. You don't need that and it doesn't suit you either!

Is it a misunderstanding? i instantly ordered as soon as it came out and i gotta wait till the end of december? i thought waiting for my GPU was bad but 2 months for a CPU?

You have never ordered on release day have you? Hardware companies generally underproduce the initial release, so they don‘t drop into massive crippling debt in the very likely case of a recall due to the dimensions of todays pc components. What that means for you, is that buying on release day is basically a pre-order. You will be the first to get it, but it is not here yet.

So I literally had 5 tabs open refreshing constantly. The second it became available I instantly ordered it since I had the In Store Pick Up and Payment selected. It verified instantly. Then to secure things further I edited it and paid immediately to avoid BS excuses. With all the timing and instant initiation it still gave me 4-6 weeks. So that literally must mean that they weren't planning on having any of them ready at all? Does any single person have the option to acquire one within the next day? ...

I have been waiting for this processor for a good 4 months now. Supposedly a delivery should arrive in 6-8 days. Let's see if this will be something Digitec :) I find this long waiting time a real pity... after 4 alleged dates now maybe a small glimmer of hope...

My 5900x order, after counting down from 14 days, was yesterday finally saying "expected today". Then it changed to "No information available". How can Digitecs stock information system be so ****ing bad? I mean really, from a consumer perspective this is just terrible. :(

I'm still waiting for my 5900x ordered at launch and the only answer i got from the Digitec support was that they have no idea when they are getting them.

I can just guess but in the beginning i wouöd say MSRP plus 50 to 70 Swissfrancs amd in 3 to 6 months maybe even below MSRP. But its just a guess

This is a real disappointment. I would have been willing to switch from Intel to AMD after years. But 0 availability in the whole of Switzerland is totally ridiculous. This is a paper launch in perfection. At least some of the Nvidia 30XX cards were available with a bit of luck. Too bad AMD.

What is the point of these completely overpriced JACOB.de offers? Who orders there at these rip-off prices? Sorry, but this casts digitec in an extremely bad light.

Yes, it can be, but I assume that Digitec and Jacob have a contract that most likely states that Digitec has to present offers from Jacob on the Digitec website. But most importantly and finally, the choice is yours if you want to buy something from digitec, jacob or any other supplier.

The price scalping (double the MSRP) of JACOB DE is shocking, and sad that Digitec permits such robbery on their platform.

I personally expect Digitec to throw them out - or they might as well do it themselves (which for me would be a reason to no longer consider them and I'm quite sure they have no intention to do that anyway)

Highest rating for Digitec in general. BUT this is not a price that should be on your site. It's almost 2x the normal price, 1033 chf vs 549. Don't encourage scalpers please! Reconsider if this JACOBS DE should continue as supplier for Digitec

What's going on with Far Cry 6, I ordered my Ryzen 5900X on 5.11. and got it at the beginning of December. But I didn't get the code for the game. I opened a ticket with support, according to the answer I should have received my code on 14.12., but it hasn't arrived yet. Does this additional product really exist?

In the meantime, the CPU is available with a free additional product (Far Cry 6). However, if I remember correctly, this was not the case when I placed my order on the release day at 15:03. Will I still get the game?
