Hello, reset the iPhone completely, preferably via Itunes, without backing up the data, and then see if it still gets hot, usually it's an app that puts a lot of strain on the device. Otherwise, you have a 2-year warranty if it was purchased through Digitec.

Our prices automatically adjust to the market price. This display of -7% was probably because the daily price fell from 20 to 21 August. Our system always shows this. Since then, the price has remained stable for the most part.
We bought the iPhone new at the time. We have since sold it.
What do you expect from an Apple promotion? They are usually never really high.

The subscription is completely separate. With the device, you simply get a voucher worth 150 francs when you buy it, which you can redeem later with Digitec Connect subscription. You get the voucher even if you don't have a subscription. It's just a code that you can redeem if you have a Digitec Connect subscription. As far as I know, exchanging the old iPhone for the new one only works directly on the Apple website. But because of depreciation, you usually don't get any more money anyway.
