Of course, the battery consumption increases with the hotspot. However, you should easily get through the day with it. In normal use, I usually still have 54% in the evening. The iPhone 14 will be introduced in September. I would therefore recommend that you wait. Either to buy the 14 with longer battery life or the 13 on sale.
