I can't use the Arduino with my Surface at all. The driver cannot be found. I have searched 100 websites for advice and I can't find a solution.

To control a stepper motor with the Arduino, you need a stepper motor driver board.
This is not included in the starter kit. (But a DC motor and a servo are included, both with instructions).

Just google "Arduino" and "stepper motor". You'll get a lot of good results.
