Should work. Problems with the compatibility of different RAM modules with each other cannot be completely ruled out. However, this is extremely rare nowadays. AsRock writes on their website that 128GB are also supported on the B450 Pro4: https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/b450%20pro4/index.asp#Specification Often maximum RAM capacity specifications are listed reduced compared to what is technically feasible, e.g. because there are no larger modules to test. Technically, 192GB could also work (4*48GB). However, no one has probably tested this on the motherboard yet, but other AM4 motherboards have already been certified for this.

Hi, Kai, I also bought this board, but I use it in a totally different configuration. (Ryzen5 without GPU) only a graphics card Nvidia GTS 1050, 16 GB RAM. First the question: If you plug in an external graphics card and write that it works, do you have the monitor connected where? To the external graphics card or to the graphics card of the board/APU? I know that as soon as a graphics card is plugged in, the internal graphics are switched off, so that I still have a picture, I have to reconnect the monitor. If I plug in a second graphics card externally, I probably have to connect another monitor to see if there is a picture there. All this with the caveat that drivers and monitor configuration have to be set up after booting the operating system. With some boards I can switch on the internal graphics card in the BIOS, so that one or possibly 2 monitors can be connected there. You want to use 3 graphics chips at once, what is your idea behind this? The use of 2 plugged-in graphics cards is often used by gamers who then connect them together (SLI) to get higher frame rates. Otherwise, with 3 graphics chips I can possibly operate 6 monitors - is that what you want? Kind regards Mischi237

Hello. The CPU works for sure. The RAM is a problem. This is a dual channel board, so the RAM should also be dual channel and always populated in pairs. The RAM you specified is not on the board's compatibility list. But it would work: F4-3200C16D-16GTZB or F4-4266C19D-16GTZR.

What is your RAM speed? I can only run my 3200 at 2933. I assume you have an external GK and have already checked the 8 pin connector in the "north" of the motherboard?

Unfortunately, I can't tell you for sure that 3.20 is already installed. In my case, there was a sticker on the box saying "AMD Ryzen 3000 desktop ready" I immediately installed BIOS 3.50 on it. However, I have a 2600 and no 3rd gen. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether 3.1 or 3.2 was installed....

The AMD Ryzen and the RTX 2080 fit on it without any problems (I have the mainboard myself with the Ryzen 5 2600X). About the RAM: You can check on AMD's website which RAM sticks are supported (serial number). I use the Corsair Vengeance (standard) DDR-4 2600 RAM models myself (2x 8GB), so there shouldn't really be any problems. I would still check to be on the safe side ;)

Have you installed the 970 on the socket (M2_1) which is intended for M.2 PCI Express and the socket (M2_2) is intended for M.2 SATA3 according to the manual? https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files/1/7/6/5/7/7/4/6/B45020Pro4.pdf Have you already done a possible bios update of the mainboard?
