According to the other comments, the USB-F + SATA power cable is not included, but in my case it was included in the packaging. Also, is the SATA power connector absolutely necessary for the Bluetooth function? I no longer have a free SATA power connection in my PC and would have to get a splitter first. Bluetooth is recognised but does not work. Windows reports a problem with the device.

Yes, the additional power connection is required for the Bluetooth functionality, otherwise, as mentioned, it will not be recognised correctly by Windows. In my case, the cable was also included in the scope of delivery.

The description says "PCI-Express x1" - on my mainboard it says "PCIEX1_1". Is that the same, or does it not match? Visually I would say it is the same slot. And then the USB cable to the mainboard confuses me. I think the connection comes through the PCI Express slot? I don't have USB on the mainboard from 2010 or similar.

Yes, that fits. 1_1 only means that you have more than one slot - this is simply the first of several PCIe x1 slots. Unfortunately, the USB cable for Bluetooth is not included, which is really weak on ASUS' part. Bluetooth does not work without this cable as it requires a connection to the internal USB header (2.0).
