Well, as far as I know, it simply needs a sufficiently powerful power supply unit that could also run the laptop directly. Look at the docking station to see how much power it needs, and that's what the power supply needs to deliver at least. The connections of the power supply units at Dell are standardised, except for the very new ones, whose connections have slightly smaller dimensions. I always have several power supply units for our notebooks so that I have a power supply unit everywhere at the various workstations....

be sure to check with the manufacturers. Compatibility is not always given. I had to buy this dock for a new DELL laptop that needed more charging power. I just had a bad experience with an HP Universal Dock that doesn't work with an HPLaptop. Contact support!

The power supply unit has a 3-pin Euro plug as the connection for the power cable. You can also find this if you search for "Mickey Mouse plug".

It is, yes. Kindly refer to the manufacturer product number in the product details. But you can also tell it's the TB-variant by the 180W of power delivery capacity.

Hello apos. Unfortunately I can't really answer. Since I don't have the station in operation at the moment, I can't even try it out.... Does Dell itself not give any hints ?

On the laptop, the / one USB-C port is occupied by the cable that comes from the docking station. At the docking station, a cable goes out of the housing, i.e. directly from the "inside" and not with a cable that has to be plugged in on both sides... I hope I have explained it clearly... Greetings, Mika
