This camera can initiate recording up on motion detection. You can even define regions where you want to detect motion. It can also idetify dogs in motion.
Storage location can be on remote NAS or similar server where you need run any IP camera stream capture SW. In my case, I use Synology NAS where it supports recording up to 2x such cameras with a free licence. You can also record continuously and mark on top motion detected time sequences...
No, I think this camera is not compatible with the Homebase. This camera can be operated without Homebase, it stores events on the local memory card.
"Sound detect" option is for crying baby voice. There is no option for "barking dog". I did not try "sound detect" option on my dog. It may or may not work... But, "pet motion detect" works pretty well.
Besides, sending/recording voice messages to your dog over this camera will not work to calm down the dog in case your intension was to "silence" the dog. Because they realize if the voice command is from a real person in the room, or is it from a speaker. Yes, they are clever animals...
Yes, that works. It then records what fits on the SD card and deletes the oldest data. But you can also rent cloud storage (3$ per 30 days for 1 device).

Not sure if alarm can be set on EUFY. You can configure notifications on your mobile. Hope it helps.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer informs that the Solo IndoorCam P24 (Article 14406523) is not yet compatible with the homebase.
The manufacturer informs: ''The SoloCams are stand-alone devices, but we are working on the integration of the solocam and the HomeBase. We hope to be able to do this soon. ''

This camera has the ability to 'see' up to 32.8FT at night, i.e. approximately 10 metres.
Without Wi-Fi, the configuration will be difficult. Which you would have to do to activate the SD card recordings.
