I have connected the FritzBox 7530 behind a Sunrise-Box ale router. WLAN works fine. My question: How do I get the telephony via 7530 to work? When I want to enter a telephone number, the 7530 asks for the provider. I select another provider, as Sunrise (and also Swisscom) do not appear at all. Then the 7530 asks for the registrar (I used grb.ims.sunrise.ch) and the user name and password. Sunrise Support was unable to help. Does anyone know what the correct procedure is for setting up telephony in the 7530 with Sunrise. Thank you for your support.

We have programmed the UPC router in "pass-through". The landline telephone continues to run via the UPC box. That's how everything works. LG

Can I use it to set up a Wi-Fi network in my house by connecting it to my internet provider's modem and then install the repeater on the upper floor where the signal is no longer strongly available? So far I have the installation with a router and repeater from Netgear, but I am not at all satisfied with the performance of the repeater and I also have the problem that the remote control of my TV constantly has dropouts because apparently the router and the Bluetooth signal of the remote control are fighting each other.... :) I am also considering a change because I hope that this problem will miraculously disappear.

Good day Is the title correct? Which product do I get when I order from https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/avm-fritzmesh-set-fritzbox-7590-und-fritzrepeater-1200-international-ch-router-12376531? The Fritzbox 7590 as described in the title or the Firtzbox 7530 as described in the description? According to the specification: 5 GHz transmission rate 866 Mbit/s it should be the 7530. I have a Swisscom router in the basement. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi does not reach the ground floor and first floor. I would therefore like to use the AVM Fritz Mesh as an access point on the ground floor and integrate a Mesh Repeater via LAN bridge on the first floor. Does this work?

Yes, I use the Swisscom router with WiFi in the basement (strong concrete walls) and the AVM FritzBox is connected by cable and WiFi is set up on the ground floor. The repeaters (mesh function) ensure wifi coverage on the ground floor and first floor on the same network. What is not possible is to integrate the Swisscom router into the mesh. This WLAN runs under a different SSID, unfortunately. However, I have now tested that if the FritzBox is on the ground floor, it is sufficient to use the Fritz Box WLAN in the cellar with the Repeater 1750E, despite the thick concrete walls (the WLAN of the Swisscom Box is no longer necessary).
