It is due to the IP address, try an ip-scan to determine which IP the Gigaset has. ( download this: https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/de ) you must be in the same network on the computer, so the first 3 numbers must match, e.g. 192.168.1.*, then you should be able to reach the device. user "admin" password "admin" Good luck, Jürg

The PRO N610 IP DECT base station does not work reliably with Gigaset SL360HS handsets. Gigaset recommends that you only use PRO handsets with PRO base stations, as non-PRO handsets such as the S850 HX may lose the connection. The SL360HS belongs to the consumer series and is therefore not designed for use with PRO base stations such as the N610 IP PRO.

Sorry, I have no information on UGC Gateway. My experience with PRO N610 - works reliably with PRO class handhelds. Other combinations had trouble synchronising the type of audio compression, which often cancelled the connection - even when forwarding. Since replacing all non "PRO" devices, it has been fine. Whether the newer devices still have "PRO" in the product name even though they have "PRO" features I don't know either. GIGASET delegated the support to the sellers of their products with the result: no support in my case. The solution to the problem was research on the Internet where I found links to GIGASET's own messages in Bergen from Tech Talk. Too bad about GIGASET, it meant best value for money but for me it is no longer an option for corporate use as I felt let down.

Yes, the N610 IP PRO employees exclusively via IP (VoIP) to connect to a telephone system. An analogue connection (PSTN) is not supported, the device only offers LAN connection and DECT radio technology for use with SIP-based systems

Problem from time to time: Timeout when negotiating audio compression with the remote station (according to information in Gigaset forums) and thus the connection process was cancelled. This occurred with incoming and outgoing calls including forwarding with all non-per-hand sets, which gradually led to all their disposal. - Unfortunately - GIGASET support said: "Only use Pro with Pro". Overall GIGASET made a bad trap in this matter - too long story for this feedback. Now after the replacement = disposal of about 8 S850 HX and all non Pro Dect bases the disconnections have stopped.
