It's difficult to say, because there are already differences between Wlan and Lan. In the end, it does matter who the provider is and how high the buffer time is set. Do you use SmartIPTV on the Sony or another app? Personally I don't see much difference between Mag, Samsung App and Android (Mi Box), all three run the SIPTV platform/app. All three have a good Lan or Wlan connection. I think the devices should have at least 35-40Mbit/s to run properly.

Hello Kelmendi 1973 The remote control works with the box without configuration or learning. Simply insert the supplied batteries and start.

Hello, I don't know this problem, I have 2 boxes and they run fine! But I wouldn't buy any more! Stable boxes are available, I would recommend either a TVIP box or formuler z+ / 7+.

Hello, The STB Emu (i.e. an emulation of STB) is an app for Android systems and not for Infomir (MAG2xx). Therefore, the MAG system does not know what to do with the extension. You do not need any additional software on the MAG device. In the settings (under Server/Portals) you only have to enter the portal (from your provider = where you have your account). The STB is then always downloaded from the provider portal when you restart. With MAG, the login to the portal is done without user name+password but via the hardware address of the network adapter (so-called MAC address). Your IPTV provider must register the MAC address and give you the portal address for the configuration of the MAG device. The set-up is usually a matter of 10-15 minutes and then there are a few thousand TV channels to choose from. I hope this helps you. If not, please contact me.

That's not what it's for, the box needs to be configured with a specific image / platform. to install apps you're better off with a combination of an android phone and a chrome stick. or the new generation apple-tv.

Good day. I think you should ask the question a bit more specifically. How is this IPTV box supposed to be compatible with Swisscom? And why don't you want to spend another CHF 120? What would you like to do with it, or should it work? On the one hand, the IPTV box basically only needs an Internet connection to be able to use the services available on it. Swisscom TV 2.0 itself, for example, will not work with the box, if that's what you mean.
