Hello, I doubt that the manufacturer will allow this. However, one solution would be to configure the Archer as a repeater, with the smartphone as a base. But perhaps a modem with sim card would be a better solution in this kind of situation, if your internet provider allows you to use two sim cards.

Hi I do not use VPN on the TP-Link Archer AX1500 (AX10). As far as I understand, this model can be configured as a VPN server. But as I said, I cannot judge whether it is usable. https://www.tp-link.com/us...

The 802.11 ac wlann standard used here is really the latest at the moment, but there are even faster routers with the same standard. What I find strange about this router is the somewhat slow Erhernet standard with 100 Mbps. Today, 1000mbit/s (Gigabitethernet) are common. So if a fast cable connection is important to you (perhaps you currently have your PC connected to the router via LAN), this might be the wrong router. I can only say this much about the range: The (faster) 5GHz channel has a much shorter range than the 2.4GHz channel. I hope this was of some help
