Which mainboard / motherboard is used? If both memories are compatible with the mainboard and the necessary interfaces are available, then: i. O. Save the operating system and certain reliable programmes such as Microsoft Office on SSD. Ordinary files, which are often only stored temporarily, should be saved on HDD.

The cache is 128 MB, the storage technology is CMR (Conventional Magnetic Recording). The hard drive is filled with air, not helium. The maximum workload rate per year is not explicitly stated by the manufacturer. The maximum internal transfer rate is up to 185 MB/s. The speed is 5640 rpm and the interface is SATA 6 Gb/s.

The WD20EARZ and the WD20EZRZ are not identical, although both belong to the WD Blue series with 2 TB capacity. The WD20EARZ uses CMR technology, as does the WD20EZRZ, but they are different model numbers, which may indicate differences in firmware or other specifications. Since Synology does not have the WD20EARZ on the compatibility list and warns of data loss, it is risky to use this drive as a replacement in a RAID 1 array when a WD20EZRZ was originally intended. For RAID systems it is important to use exactly compatible drives to avoid data loss. To summarise: The WD20EARZ is not identical to the WD20EZRZ and is not listed as compatible by Synology. Therefore, the WD20EARZ should not be used as a replacement disc in RAID-1 if the WD20EZRZ is the original drive.

Normal warranty 2 years, no OEM
Unfortunately not. Synology has very detailed compatibility lists: https://www.synology.com/en-us/compatibility?search_by=products&model=DS216j&category=hdds_no_ssd_trim&filter_brand=Western%20Digital&filter_type=3.5%22%20SATA%20HDD&p=1&change_log_p=1 Also generally speaking, the Blue series is more suitable for desktop PCs.
So yes, it should be compatible, obviously with older models. Newer models have SSD drives, but on older models you can change to a 2.5" hard drive, which should be compatible and the size should match.
Yes it would fit the Macbook Pro 2011, although I would highly recommend to install an SSD instead, because the SSD would be much faster. The cheapest 2TB SSD would be 177 CHF: Crucial BX500 (2000GB, 2.5") If you are ok with 1TB, it would cost about 100 CHF: Crucial BX500 (1000GB, 2.5")
I'm sorry, I installed this hard drive in a customer's computer. I have no access to this computer. However, the hard drive works perfectly.
Yes is it
Ja, das geht's. (Sorry about my very poor German) Yes, this disk fits in the PS4 Slim, but it will go slow, as always. The super long load times of PS4 are mainly due to the hard disk. I strongly recommend you to chose a SSD. They are a bit more expensive but so much worthwhile!! For instance: Intenso high performance (960GB, 2.5") Or almost any SSD 2.5" with the same specs. I personally don't need 1TB and with the disk of 500GB I have more than enough for my PS4. I hope this helps, Ivan.
I installed the HD in an HP ProBook 450 G7. Did not need an additional bracket
Hello, theoretically you can use all HDDs, but the wd blue is not intended for 24h operation. Here you can find all tested WD HDDs from Synology. https://www.synology.com/de-de/compatibility?search_by=products&model=DS419slim&category=hdds_no_ssd_trim&filter_brand=Western%20Digital&p=1
Hallo, welches Model hast du genau?
This HDD is a normal 2.5 and fits in there pretty easily.... Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NziU3BWWtWs
No. Your laptop does not support an HDD, neither in desktop nor in laptop format. There is only one m.2 interface for an SSD, but it is already occupied and can therefore only be replaced. There is no room for an additional hard disk.
Please tell us what kind of device you have....
Hello everyone, 99.9% that it is a SMR Greetings
Check if you can cancel the order in your profile ( make sure you are logged in, click on your user on the top right site, click on orders finally click on the order with the HD and search for a cancel option) If you have already received the order or it is not possible to cancel contact the customer service at digitec@digitec.ch.
Yes, there are. From 7mm to 15mm in several gradations. See what you can install as a maximum. In general, the higher the height, the more (maximum) capacity.
You must use the disk management to activate the disk. http://techfrage.de/question/10528/windows-10-datentragerverwaltung-offnenanzeigen/ https://www.giga.de/downloads/microsoft-windows/tipps/die-datentraegerverwaltung-in-windows-7-und-8-oeffnen/
No, they are not included. If you have assembled your PC yourself, they are always included with the mainboard. Otherwise look in the shop, they are not that expensive
Your PC power supply should already have a SATA power connector. But you still need a SATA cable if you don't have one. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/datenkabel-intern-pc-444?pdo=1126-8714:1098&tagIds=76-527
Hello, This is a standard SATA cable. Here is an example: Value SATA-3 Kabel (50cm) However, if you want a cable to connect it to USB, you need another type of product: Delock Konverter USB 3.0 zu SATA 3 Gb/s (Adapter, 0.30m) Note that for the first cable I already take into account that the case contains a power cable for the hard drive. If you want more details or if you want a better explanation, just reply to this comment. Sincerely, N. Oliveira
Good day These hard drives are too big for notebooks, they need a 2.5 inch hard drive.
