    Elektroschrott - Terrible Quality Control

I decided to write a short early review, because I couldn't find any on the internet since it's a new product on the market.

First of all - quality control:
Two power banks (I got replacement) arrived completely empty (such
batteries shouldn't be deeply discharged), they switching off randomly when charging devices at 30-50%, then suddenly show 0%, second USB-A port isn’t working.

Efficiency is rather low - I managed to charge and transfer more or less 53 Wh, which means 69% efficiency (power bank has 77 Wh). With other power banks I was able to reach 80% (rest is lost in the conversion process, due to heat, resistance and overall circuit quality of both power bank and charged device).

    Look:
It's design is very tempting. Plastic case seems to be very prone to scratches. It doesn't bother me though. Otherwise quality of material seems to be good.

    Charing power:
Via USB-C it can be charged really quickly. I was able to get 65W with my 65W wall charger.
I was also charging Mavic 3 drone with maximum 88W (PPS protocol).

    Ports:
One of the USB-A ports was defective in both power banks. Passthrough charging seems to be very slow. When power bank was connected to 65W charger, and I connected iPhone to it's USB-A, suddenly power bank was charged with only 1A 5V (5W), and smartphone was charged with rather minor wattage (I was not able to check the voltage). Not great, not terrible.

    Pro

    • looks nice
    • great charging power
    • power bank charges quickly
    • good power/weight ratio

    Contra

    • quality control?
    • inefficient passthrough charging
    • quite low efficiency
    • one USB-A port doesn’t work on 2 different power banks

    Chinese scrap

This exact model is available for purchase on Aliexpress. 4smarts is a tiny company in Germany that resells the junk at a nice premium.

Just look at the pictures: port A1 says "22.5W max", A2 says "22.5 max".
    If not even
this formatting is managed uniformly, one can deduce how inferior the rest is.

    Ultrascrap!!!

Another junk cheap product (but sold at a high price!!!) from digitec/galaxus! But there are apparently still enough stupid people (or unfortunately more and more...) on this planet who really buy every piece of crap!

    Attention!

Exactly the same powerbank can be found for about CHF 20 on Aliexpress. Pretty questionable what digitec is offering here...?

Chinese part available for a fraction of the price

Luckily, I had exactly this powerbank on my desk. I don't know yet whether it works, because I charged it first, which went well so far. But what disappoints me is the fact that I received this part for CHF 20 postage free. And yes, with battery, not like others claim it is missing. And the part really is identical, except for the brand name.
Digitec, you must have been taken for a ride and you probably paid extra yourself.
