I bought the Samsung Galaxy A3 because I wanted an Android device with good performance and good looks and feel. With the Samsung A3 I found what I was looking for, finally a Samsung phone that looks like it was made of aluminium. The size is perfect to be able to use it with one hand. The battery is so great, I have had it in operation for two days until the battery was empty and that with average to intensive use. The display has a good resolution and the colours are clean and crisp, as you know from Amoled displays. The processor is up to date and the device runs without jerks. All in all, a really successful mobile phone from Samsung at a SUPER PRICE!

I can only agree with the previous speaker! It even runs smoother than my S5 (thanks to Snapdragon 410).

The Galaxy A3 is a very nice mobile phone....
The Galaxy A3 is a very nice mobile phone, very slim, fits well in the hand and can be operated with one hand. I can only recommend it.

Am completely satisfied with the A3. I bought it as a replacement for my S3 Mini. The battery lasts me easily 5 days (mobile data and WLAN only switched on when needed), normal use, no games, sporadic video watching.

I am very satisfied with this mobile phone. It finally fulfils what I have been looking for for years: an inexpensive smartphone that nevertheless offers a very fast interface. Even after an update to Android 5, the performance is still very fast. That's how it should be. This device really deserves the name smartphone. Not like all the other countless cheap smartphones whose hardware is notoriously overloaded by the Android colossus.

I would buy again immediately
From my point of view, the A3 is an absolutely successful device. Great price-performance ratio. The battery lasts 3 to 4 days with "normal" use (Wi-Fi or mobile data always on, camera, lamp and planner). If you do without the planner and camera, you can achieve a much longer runtime in ultra-saving mode.
The operation is super easy and the working tempo is still contemporary. The design is great, but I "packed" it with a screen protector and cover right away. Without the cover, the camera is slightly at risk (protruding).

All in all, a good phone that meets our requirements exactly. Of course, there are significantly better phones in terms of performance and display. But they also cost accordingly. We can recommend the phone.

Android version not as advertised
The phone comes with Android 5.0.2 installed, not KitKat as in the description.

Super buy for performance/price
I bought the A3 to replace an S4 Mini. I had been satisfied with it for 2 years. I wanted a new mobile that wasn't too big (compared to the S6 etc.).

A great device, it's enough for my needs (Whats App, texting, listening to music, making calls). It's almost a little too big for me, but the feel is very classy. The battery lasts a very long time. (more than 48h). The device also seems very robust, but I find the "seams" a little rough.

If you don't want to dig too deep into your pocket, but can't do without an all-rounder, this is a good choice.
Personally, the Samsung A3 makes a very good optical impression on me.
I also find the size just right. I can use the whole screen without getting cramps and it just fits into a trouser or jacket pocket.
As soon as you connect the smartphone to the internet, it asks for permission to update to Android 5.
The Samsung A3 works quickly, there are hardly any waiting times.
The battery may last longer than on an iPhone 6 or a Samsung Galaxy s6, but the battery life is still rather short. The included headphones sit well in the ear and deliver solid sound quality.
They have a microphone and 3 buttons. 1 to answer or cancel calls and 2 for volume control.
I rate the screen and the front and rear cameras as average. For the price, however, it's quite adequate.

Never Samsung again!
I bought the A3 4 months ago. So far, everything had worked well. The device is light and thin, which I liked. However, it crashed a few days ago and could no longer be started. I had taken out the Premium Express Service Guarantee, and then sent the device to mobiletouch. Two days later, mobiletouch replied and rejected the warranty, due to moisture damage. The device was obviously never immersed in water, at most hit by a few raindrops, or used in humid air (winter sports). If it is indeed moisture damage, then the design / build quality of the unit is very poor. This was my third Samsung (after S4 mini and S5 mini). All of them broke pretty quickly. NEVER SAMSUNG AGAIN!!!
