ROLINE LWL patch cables in OM5 quality feature connectors that exhibit particularly low insertion loss, making them ideal for high-performance fiber optic cabling. These OM5 fiber optic cables provide excellent quality at very high bandwidths of up to 100 Gbit/s for Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and OIF applications up to 150 meters. They enhance the system cost advantages for extremely long backbones and medium-length campus backbones.

The material and sheath are of ROLINE quality. These are duplex cables with a multimode fiber type of 50/125μm OM5. The cables are equipped with "Low-Loss" connectors that achieve particularly good values for insertion loss and reflection.
