The IWLAN Client SCALANCE from Siemens is a powerful access point specifically designed for operation in the USA. Supporting WLAN standards IEEE 802.11a/b/g/h/n, this device offers a gross data rate of up to 300 Mbit/s and enables a reliable connection over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. The access point is equipped with two RJ45 ports that support a maximum port speed of 100 Mbit/s. Thanks to the integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality and the 2-port switch, easy installation and power supply are possible. The SCALANCE W734-1 is suitable for installation in control cabinets as well as for use in non-cabinet indoor environments, providing an enhanced wireless connection through MIMO technology. The devices are optimized for managing up to eight connected devices with Industrial Ethernet connections and ensure deterministic data transmission and defined response times through iFeatures.
