With this multiswitch, satellite signals can be distributed to up to eight participants. By combining the base unit with the cascade unit, the distribution network can be easily and seamlessly expanded to up to 24 participants. Each participant has access to the full range of programs at all multimedia sockets. The TechniSwitch system allows for the distribution of up to four different satellite IF levels (satellite blocks). It can be used without a power supply. A power connection at the installation site of the multiswitch system is not strictly necessary. The power supply for the multiswitches (including terrestrial signals) can be provided by the LNB power supply of the receivers. Otherwise, the power supply is provided via the plug-in power supply of the base unit.
