The conductors are made of 100% copper and are unshielded, and the cable features a bend protection. The jacket is made from halogen-free materials and is highly flame-resistant. The UTP cable consists of a plastic jacket that houses the unshielded, twisted pairs. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter, making them easy to handle and install.
