The Leitzphone is a top-class smartphone camera that Leica fans in particular will be delighted with. The control ring, the Leica-inspired design and the Essential Mode with camera simulations offer improvements over its sister model, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
The Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi is not a smartphone for value-conscious buyers. The price and its technical similarity to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra are simply too high for that. However, Leica has taken an excellent smartphone and turned it into a stand-alone premium device with even better camera tuning, a striking design and genuine photographic appeal.
