The VME00110 enables HDMI transmission over a LAN cable, ideal for distances of up to 70 m at Full HD or 40 m at 4K 30Hz HDR. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver that transmit the HDMI signal via an Ethernet cable (CAT5e or better). The transmitter connects to the HDMI source and sends the signal to the receiver, which converts it back to HDMI. The receiver is powered through the network cable and simultaneously supports infrared transmission for remote control, allowing you to manage the source from a distance. 2. FeinTech Modulator

You can feed a signal into the VHQ00101 via the HDMI connection, for example from a camera, streaming box, decoder, PC, or satellite receiver. The VHQ00101 generates a DVB-C or DVB-T television channel from this signal, which you can receive like a TV program on most modern televisions. This is delivered in Full HD picture quality and with digital sound. You can use the same cable for distribution that is also used for satellite signals, DVB-T, or cable television. The output channel and program name are freely selectable. This allows you to provide signals from a surveillance camera, media player, or computer over long distances and for an unlimited number of televisions. The HDMI signal is HF-modulated by the VHQ00101 and can be finely adjusted. You can choose whether the output is in DVB-C and DVB-T at 1080i or 1080p. The audio format can be selected as MPEG1 Layer II, AAC, or AC3 Stereo. Professional settings for NIDs, SID, PIDs, etc., can also be configured. There is a signal input available for injecting into the cable network. Through this, you can operate additional VHQ00101 units if needed, allowing you to inject multiple channels. After a channel scan on the television or receiver, you will receive the additional program. 4. FeinTech Repeater

HDMI cables were originally designed for lengths of up to 5 meters. With a large cable cross-section and good material processing, a transmission of up to 15 meters is possible for Full HD signals. However, as the resolution increases, so does the bandwidth and data volume. What worked for Full HD no longer works for Ultra HD. Longer distances can lead to dropouts, and often no connection can be established at all. This is because the signal level decreases with increasing length and the signal shape becomes noisy. The timing of the signals is also important. Additional information about copy protection and supported video and audio formats must be exchanged. If these signals are not transmitted clearly, the connection will drop or may not be established at all. In many cases, an HDMI repeater can help. This is a signal amplifier for HDMI signals. As with all amplifiers, it is important to note that such devices cannot perform miracles. The signal at the input must still be clean. It is then amplified and sent to the display at a higher level. Typically, the repeater receives the necessary power from the HDMI source device. It can happen that an HDMI device cannot provide enough power or that the voltage drops. This occurs with some HDMI cables, and the repeater then receives insufficient energy. This can happen especially with long cable lengths or with cables that have a special chip (Redmere or Spectra7). In such cases, connect any USB power source to the VMR00200 repeater.
