I'm happy to give feedback, but unfortunately I can't answer this question because I'm currently still using a 500 GB USB hard drive, but I read from the forums that a hard drive that is too big could cause problems.

Humax recommends an external USB 3.0 hard drive with up to 1 TB (1000 GB) of storage. Whether larger USB drives with more than 1 TB are also recognised must first be tested. If you use an external hard disk with only USB 2.0, the number of recordings that can be made at the same time may be reduced because the data cannot be written fast enough at the same time via USB 2.0. You can edit your own recordings directly on the Humax UHD 4tune+.
