No, not directly from Google Play.
But you can stream a single live stream from another device via Chromecast to the box.

It's the same for me: "Is not available on Google Play on this device". The geo-blocking has a negative effect on the media libraries. Otherwise, it's a very good box, runs optimally via Wi-Fi and I don't need a cable for the TV.
