How do I get the code from Samsung to unlock the phone worldwide?

As far as I can remember, you had to make a call for at least 5 minutes with a Europe SIM card so that the phone would accept other, worldwide SIM cards. However, this did not work at first go. With a code from Samsung, I was then able to unlock the phone worldwide.
