Question about Samsung QE55S95D
Defective television set on swisscom tvbox needs to be replaced. Your TV on sale is equipped with Samsung tv Plus (free TV), can I do without the Swisscom Tv box or can both be in operation at the same time? Romy

The Swisscom TV Box can usually be connected to a Samsung TV. The connection is usually established via an HDMI cable. The Swisscom TV Box can be used simultaneously with a Samsung TV. RTL2, ZDF and ORF can be received with a Samsung Smart TV, whereby the method depends on the location (Germany/Austria) and the type of reception.

Can you also receive rtl2 or ZDF ORF etc.?
You can use it either way. I abandoned the extra tv box and used a TV app (Zattoo)…. Much more variety and a lot cheaper than a subscription service with a box
Both can be used at the same time. I have my Swisscom box connected to the TV and it works well. Very good picture quality. But note this TV does not have the same functionality as the Swisscom box. I could not install my Swisscom account directly on the TV.
