So the USB 3.0 connection has been working perfectly for me for an hour. I just had to connect a USB C active hub including USB C to USB A 3.0 adapter between the box and the hard drive, which corresponds to the Ethernet adapter. Since then it loads the films from the external hard drive even faster and at the same time I get a download speed of up to 960 MBit/s with the Ethernet to USB 3.0. Previously, the built-in USB 3.0 connection worked as if it were just a USB 2.0.

Do not use the USB port.

The USB port did not work for me.
