Does the cable only pass power or also data when switched on? I want to use it for my webcam.

Power only. There are only two wires for power supply, the two wires for data are missing.

I can't answer that because I wanted to use the cable to switch a raspberry pi on and off unfortunately the pi 4 has a usb c and not a micro usb I have to return the cable 🥴
