These advertisements only appear in Xiaomi's own applications and can be easily switched off. In the individual Xiaomi programmes, there is a switch in the programme settings that can simply be switched off. If this is done for a few applications, no advertisements appear in these apps.

This is done in about 5 to 10 minutes. And if you don't open or use the Xiaomi tools, you won't be bothered by them.

The community is not so enthusiastic about these built-in recommendations, but simply switching them off solves this little evil. Xiaomi offers very good hardware for less money than the competition. So I can understand if they switch on advertising in their own applications.

But since you can simply get rid of them, that would never be a reason for me not to buy these products now.

The competition is far worse, by the way, because they often force you to install apps that you can't delete. And apps that Xiaomi installs can always be deleted without any problems. Without tinkering.
