Does the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ have an infrared transmitter to function as a remote control? If yes, only transmitter (e.g. switch on TV) or also receiver (e.g. a signal from a TV remote control)?

The S6 Edge+ has an infrared transmitter and even its own programme to control different devices in different rooms. It has only one transmitter and no receiver.

No, unlike the normal S6 Edge, the S6 Edge+ does not have an IR transmitter.
