Question about Samsung QE85Q60D
Does the TV have a matt or glossy surface, i.e. do you see yourself in a mirror when the set is switched off? And if you record a video with your smartphone while the Samsung TV is switched on (e.g. if you want to film a football scene), does the picture flicker as some TVs unfortunately do, especially with a low refresh rate? This one only has 50Hz. Thank you.
The TV screen is glossy rather than matt. The contours of the objects in front of it are reflected quite clearly (especially the window).
Recording videos with the smartphone is no problem. There is no flickering and the recording quality is very good.

The screen is glossy like many, but I think the gloss is minimal.
No, it didn't flicker for me, not with photos and videos. A little tip: to prevent this (IPhone): Open the camera and press 1x on the screen, then reduce the brightness. I always do it this way, it looks better and the so-called mirroring is prevented.
