Good morning, is the thermal paste already applied, or do I have to put some on?

Hi, the thermal paste is included in the delivery. You have to apply it yourself. It's not a big deal. The thermal paste evens out the micro-unevenness of the CPU so that the heat can be dissipated absolutely evenly. So don't apply a thick layer, that would be counterproductive. Watch a few videos, then it will definitely work! I would install the Dark Rock Pro 4 in my PC again and again. Cools perfectly and is virtually inaudible!

As far as I can remember, I had to apply the paste myself. Take courage, watch a few YouTube videos and you'll get the hang of it.
