As you write, you can use CPU_1 and CPU_OPT or a Y-cable and connect both to 1. I would put the blowing fan on 1 if you use both connections.

Hi, I would check with the manufacturer, I think there is an extra version of the Dark Rock Pro 4 for your board. This one sits on an Asus ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING and cools the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, which is in there until the new AMD CPU is finally available. In any case, the cooling performance is perfect. It is not audible even under stress. Super part, also visually and very nicely finished.
