Hi, I also have an LG screen and it works fine with my MacBook using the cable. The cable also charges the laptop, but it's a bit short, depending on the screen. Greetings

I have this Philips monitor Philips 346P1CRH (3440 x 1440 Pixels, 34 ").
It is connected to an HP EliteBook notebook with this cable. Picture and power supply work flawlessly. The length is short.
