Question about LG OLED55CX
Have any of you managed to set up Google Assistant on this device? According to the specifications and the LG homepage, this function is built in. There are also various videos on YouTube. Unfortunately, the setup does not seem to work as explained on YouTube. Unfortunately, LG's customer service has not been helpful so far; they have only confirmed that this function is now also available for Switzerland. However, there is no corresponding setting option in the WebOS menus. All available software updates have been made.
I think that this model is the CX6 which doesn't have google assistant or USB recording (even if the description says it does).
Google Assistant is not supported in Switzerland, as the general terms of use of the TVs purchased on the European continent only apply to the USA and the EU.
For USB recording, I can only guess that it is about the compatibility of the hard drive, as I do not own the device myself.
However, the Google Fail is also present in the 2021 BI with current software.
I have the same problem and have set up the tv several times and tried everything possible but failed and wanted to ask if you have already found a solution? Thanks in advance lg özgür
Since I don't need this assistant, I didn't try to install it.
