Hello, I don't understand the difference in model and price between the QE55S95DATXXH at 1400chf and the Swiss edition QE55S95D at 2400 chf. When I use the Galaxus tool to compare, it seems that the frequency is different (100 vs 144 Hz) as well as other features. Could you please tell me if the models are identical or not? Why such a difference in price? Thank you very much for your reply.

I don't know the technical data of the two devices. Perhaps you can find more information on the Samsung. ch homepage.

I am trying to answer the same question.

The last three characters are the country code, see https://www.netzsieger.de/ratgeber...
I assume that the QE for 2400.- is delivered with the Swiss country code.
The XXH for 1400.- with the country code XH for various countries.
The difference is probably in the analogue network type:
Switzerland: DVB-T2/C/S2 other countries with XH:DVB-C/S2/T2x2

The question is do you still use DVB signal, i.e. aerial cable, or do you stream everything via the Internet anyway? The more expensive Swissedition certainly has everything integrated... the cheap one certainly doesn't.

Chat GPT on this topic:
DVB-T2/C/S2: Standard devices with support for terrestrial, cable and satellite reception.
DVB-C/S2/T2x2: Devices with the option of a dual tuner for at least one of the transmission types or extended reception functionality.
If you are considering a device with such a designation, it is worth taking a look at the technical specifications to understand exactly what advantages the x2 offers.

Unfortunately, you cannot rely on the specifications from Digitec/Galaxus. They are often incorrect and/or incomplete. With the Swiss Streaming Edition, you can enjoy "diverse" TV entertainment - such as gripping sports content, current films and series as well as high-resolution HD and UHD content worth up to CHF 333. That's all. Otherwise, the devices should be identical. The last digits in the model name merely indicate the regional allocation in order to organise sales and service in the respective regions.

This is what ChatGPT means:
Samsung's QE55S95DATXXH and QE55S95DATXZU models are almost identical in their technical specifications and functions. The difference lies mainly in the regional marketing and the associated model codes.

QE55S95DATXXH: This model is intended for the European market. The code "TXXH" at the end of the model number indicates this regional allocation. It is available in various European countries, including Switzerland.
GALAXUS

QE55S95DATXZU: This model is specifically designed for the Swiss market. The code "TXZU" indicates this regional specification. It is marketed directly by Samsung Switzerland.
SAMSUNG

Apart from these regional differences in the model designation, the devices are identical in terms of design, picture quality and functions. The different model codes mainly help to organise sales and service in the respective regions.
