Hello... I would like to buy this smartphone for my 14-year-old brother. He lives in Thailand. Will this phone work there as it is the EU version? Thank you for your feedback.

If it is an EU version, this simply means that the device is intended for the European market. Even if it works there, there will be problems at the latest in the event of a guarantee or warranty claim. I would rather not do it. Aren't Samsung phones even cheaper there?

I would say the EU version is intended for use in the EU. Since Thailand is not part of the EU or in the region, I would assume that the phone will not work in Thailand.
