Question about Seagate Backup Plus Hub

Hi! Does the Backup Plus Hub in black 8TB also work with Time Machine from Apple? According to the Seagate homepage, it would need the version in white and "Mac".

In short: Yes.
If you plug in the external HDD and open Time Machine, you can select the external HDD and have it formatted. Afterwards, a Time Machine backup can be made to the external HDD as usual, provided it is plugged in.
