Question about Samsung QE55Q70R

Hi, I currently have the UE32D5000 TV from Samsung (a little older), but it has a naive refresh rate of 100 Hz. What is the point of 100 Hz anyway; the signal only comes in at 50 Hz anyway, right? Or are 100 Hz TVs actually better for watching sports? (I won't be doing much gaming on this TV, but the next consoles in winter 2020 will probably offer 120 Hz). Is there anyone here who has TeleclubSport or Skysports and watches football games in 4k ? ( which TV )

If the signal is coming in at 60 frames per second, then it will produce you additional frames in between to show moving objects without streaking/blurring. There are various techniques or features for this. Of course, the higher the quality of the input, the better the output.

Whether we talk about 60/120 Hz or 50/100 Hz depends on the electricity in the country.

If you change from 32 to 55 inches, this will have a greater impact on your experience than the refresh rate.

Here you can find the specifications in detail:

If you are interested, you can surf the internet for hours and get an idea.

It's not just about refresh rate and screen diagonal for great picture enjoyment, but also about that, among other things:

Contrast/HDR
CPU
Brightness
Response Time

Operating System
Audio (if you don't have or don't want additional speakers or if you have an expensive sound system, whether it supports Dolby Atmos, for example)
etc. etc.

I am happy with the screen. I also play Forza Horizon (car game) from time to time.

Oh, and if response time is important to you when playing sports, then look around at OLED devices. Prices are no longer as high as they used to be.
