How can I find out if my device has a SIM lock? I would like to use a foreign SIM

3. A hidden menu will pop up showing lock status.
If you see [NETWORK LOCK: OFF], your phone is unlocked → you can use foreign SIMs.
If you see [NETWORK LOCK: ON], your phone is locked to your carrier.
