Hi... I guess you can't. The Mi Box is a TV box - although it also runs an Android OS, it is intended for TV applications. I'm not sure if you can simply surf the internet and download apps if necessary. But what works without a problem is streaming with chromcast. Download Apk apps to your mobile phone and stream them to the mi Box with google home. I also have a MINIX Android Box. It runs the same Android OS as your mobile phone. You can use it to search for apk's on the internet and download them.
