How can it be that a device costs 650 eur in advance sales in Germany, and on top of that you get headphones as a gift (which are listed here at 320 chf), and then the device ! only ! 2 months later it is sold here at 830 chf ?

In all seriousness: Switzerland is not being supplied by Google. With goods that are already in short supply. So devices come from the surrounding country. From middlemen who take advantage of the situation and push up prices. Digitec as a company also adds a surcharge. For allf. For any warranty services, overhead for staff and for its own profit.
Your alternatives as a customer:
1) You submit to the system and accept the higher price and the waiting time at Swiss grey importers (Digitec, the yellow-blue ones, others), but you have support in warranty cases from the dealer in Switzerland.
2) You get the device yourself from the surrounding country, you might get it quicker, but you have travel costs, costs for a border purchase service and/or more difficult warranty fulfilment and a different legal situation in the case of rescission of sale/warranty services.
3) You get an alternative from a manufacturer who supplies the Swiss market.

Why don't you have it delivered to KN and pick it up there? I did it that way and can only recommend it! It's a really great device!
don't forget: you get one month flat at digitec connect for free...then you are at a good chf 500.00...besides the price is not fixed yet maybe it will be cheaper...see FAQ...
Is DE Switzerland? No.
I ordered it in Germany from Mediamarkt. Pick it up on 03.11. and pay 600SFR after deducting VAT. Any questions?
