How long will there be updates and until Android 1X arrives in the future?

Apparently 5 years from the date of purchase, for both security and software updates. However, I'm not sure about Android version updates. It seems to be a minimum of 3 years for Android versions, but for some versions of the Pixel 8 it's even 7 years. Sorry, I need to be more precise about android version updates.
