I am looking for a mid-range phone with near high-tech specs. A good camera is important to me (wide main camera, ultra wide, and telezoom as well as bookeh effect. Is this supported by the camera?) After my research I came up with 2 phones: - Xaomi Mi 9T Pro for CHF 459 - Samsung Galaxy A9 EU for CHF 430 https://bit.ly/2MQt8JM Which phone would you prefer in terms of camera? Or do you have a good alternative?

Again, I would definitely go for the Mi 9T Pro. For the money, you get excellent performance and a very good camera. I've had it myself for a while now and can say that really good photos are possible, which don't need to hide from the competition.

I would rather leave the Galaxy A9 alone, neither the camera nor the performance are on the same level as the Mi 9T Pro. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, I can recommend the Pocophone F1. Last year's flagship processor, a very good camera (for the price) and the latest Android are some of its advantages. However, you have to accept the notch for that :)

The Mi 9T Pro definitely has a better camera! Search for tests on the internet, the A9 didn't really do well... The experts at DxOmark also give the Mi 9T Pro much better marks than the Galaxy A9:

(The Redmi K20 Pro is the same as our Mi 9T Pro).

Forgot to say something important.
Xiaomi does not offer protection for any of its models.
For me, it is important because I use the phone everywhere and at the sea with the sand and salt you have to be very careful.

So the Xaomi Mi 9T Pro is better than the Samsung Galaxy A9 EU, that's for sure.
If you are looking for picture quality, I would recommend a Huawei.
Huawei P20 Pro for the price and camera beats the Xaomi Mi 9T Pro.
The Xaomi Mi 9T Pro takes poor photos in low light but if you don't care about that then the Xaomi Mi 9T Pro is nicer in design and faster in Cpu/Gpu.
Tried many phones in the last 3 months and the best camera are Huawei P20 Pro/P30 Pro/Mate 20 Pro(the Mate 20 Pro was lucky to buy at Fust for 349fr new)Iphone from 7....Honor P20 Pro,Redmi Note 7 with Gcam and Samsung from S9.
These are the best camera phone photos/videos day and night as well as in disco, mountains unsw..........Xiaomi still need to work for the camera.

About the mi9t pro. Solid camera not the best but ok for the price, the device has a lot of power. I think the Samsung Galaxy A9 EU will do better in terms of camera, but will be behind in terms of power. Both are certainly good devices for the price. If possible, test in the shop which device or camera appeals to you more.
