I am looking for a replacement USP-C cable for my HP Elite Dragonfly (8MK79EA) and my HP Elite E243d (BBM142). There are always interruptions or the laptop does not wake up from standby. The original HP USB-C cable says: Full USB3.1 Gen1 5A CM-CM, COAX P/N: 914119-003. Now I have ordered this Roline USB-C cable. The Roline USB-C cable says: USB3.2 Gen 2x2(20Gbit/s) Type C-C, M/M, 0,5m However, the monitor complains that the cable is not suitable and that I should order an original HP cable? Now I have reversed the cable and it works? 1) Is it possible that, since it doesn't say "full" on the calbel, it only works one way? 2. has anyone been able to successfully update the firmware of the scaler IC on the E243d? And does that help? 3. any tips on how to get a stable docking connection (again)?
