I bought a GoPro 13, inside only the usb c cable. Reading in the institutions (if I have understood correctly) it indicates to use a max 5 W charger. If I buy this charger (65 W) do I risk damaging the GoPro or will it only use part of the 65 W power?

Blue Power's "65W, 1x USB / 2x USB-C cable charger (65W)" may be too powerful for charging your GoPro 13, especially given that the GoPro instructions recommend using a charger with a maximum of 5V and 2A (10W).

Using a 65W charger will not necessarily harm your GoPro, as modern devices are generally designed to use only the amount of power needed. However, it is important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations to avoid any potential risk.

In this case, the 65W charger will only provide the amount of power needed to charge the GoPro, which is significantly less than 65W. Therefore, you should not worry about immediate damage, but it is always best to use a charger that complies with the GoPro manufacturer's recommended specifications to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
