Question about Google TV Streamer 4K

I have a slightly older TV without Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision or HDR. Instead, I have a Sonos Ultra Arc connected to the TV's HDMI (earc connection). Does the Atmos sound from the Google Box still reach the Sonos if I loop it through the TV via a different HDMI connection on the TV?

Have the same (TV from 2014) and it works... However had to force Google TV in the sound setup to deliver dolby to the TV, so the tv can pass it to the sonos bar by hdmi arc (doesn't do it by default if it doesn't recognize it on the TV)
