Is it possible to remove the LEDs?

As Naut88 already mentioned, the LEDs cannot be removed, but on the one hand they can be deactivated and on the other hand the "difusor" structure can be removed so that this M2 SSD is the same size and thickness as others. This plastic structure is attached with double-sided adhesive tape.

Can be switched off by software, but as far as I know, the LEDs always start first before the software then starts in Windows and deactivates the LEDs. I haven't tried this myself yet, but I read about it from another user. The LEDs are permanently mounted on the board. I don't know what happens if you simply scratch them off with a screwdriver or something. :D
I just let the LED shine indirectly under the M2 mainboard cooler. It's not as obtrusive as the original cover.

Unfortunately not, because they are soldered. However, it should be possible to switch it off via software.
