I can only offer my subjective opinion here, but I think the anti-reflective coating works very well. My TV is right next to the balcony door and I have a window opposite the TV. With my old Samsung TV, I had to draw the curtains during the day to be able to see anything. The QE77S95C absorbs the daylight perfectly.

The display of the Samsung QE77S95C has a matt, anti-reflective coating. According to the technical specifications, this model has an anti-glare/matte coating that reduces reflections and therefore ensures better visibility in bright environments.

However, it is important to note that the matte coating of the QE77S95C is not identical to the innovative "Glare-Free" technology, which was first introduced in the successor model S95D. The S95D is Samsung's first OLED TV with a completely matte surface that has been specially developed to almost completely eliminate reflections. This new coating is based on the technology previously used in Samsung's "The Frame" series and has been further developed for the S95D to provide even more effective anti-glare .

To summarise, the Samsung QE77S95C has a matt, anti-glare surface that reduces reflections. However, the S95D with its more advanced "Glare-Free" technology could be an even better choice for users who attach particular importance to maximum anti-glare.

No.
As far as I know, this will only be the case from model year 2024 onwards.
